February 10, 2018, age 67 years. Beloved wife of Rabbi Marc Berkson. Devoted mother of Michal (Jonathan) Berkson Powell, Abigail, nd Jesse. Proud grandmother of Ezra and Isaac. Further survived by other relatives and many dear friends. Preceded in death by her parents Gustav and Edith Carter and her sisters, Ruth Carter Lidawer and Janine Carter Boninger.
Funeral Service 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Congregation Emanu-El B'ne Jeshurun, 2020 W. Brown Deer Road, Milwaukee, WI 53217. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Congregation Emanu-El B'ne Jeshurun Food Bank Fund, Grand Avenue Club, or The Center for Holocaust and Humanity.
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 13TH: The Family will be returning to the Synagogue following the burial for the Meal of Consolation and Minyan Service. Following the service, the Family will return to the Carter Berkson Residence and will continue to receive friends until 9:00 PM.
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 14TH - SUNDAY, FEBRUARY, FEBRUARY 18TH: Family will receive friends at the Carter Berkson Residence* each day until 9:00 PM. Each day will begin with a Minyan Service. There will also be an afternoon and evening Minyan Service. (Service times may vary and visiting time will be limited on Friday and Saturday, please contact the Synagogue - 414-228-7545 for more information)
MONDAY, FEBRUARY 19TH: Shiva concludes with the morning Minyan Service; again, please contact the Synagogue (414-228-7545) for service time.
